This policy explains how to cancel a JustQuant Premium subscription and when we refund a payment. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Cancel any time
You can cancel your Premium subscription whenever you like, without giving a reason, and without contacting us:
- Sign in to your JustQuant account.
- Open the Premium page and find the box called Manage your subscription.
- Click Cancel subscription and confirm.
We cancel the subscription with the payment gateway at the same moment, so you are not charged again. We email you a confirmation.
You can also cancel from your payment account’s automatic-payments settings, for example in your PayPal account if you pay through PayPal. The subscription is then cancelled and you keep access to the end of the paid period.
2. What happens when you cancel
- You keep full Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for. The Premium page shows that date.
- You are not charged for any later period.
- After that date your account becomes a free account. Your progress and notes are kept, and you can subscribe again at any time.
3. No refund for the current period
Because you keep access until the end of the paid period, we do not refund a period that has already started, including a month, quarter or year you have used only partly. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not return the payment already made. This does not limit any consumer rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be waived.
4. When we do refund
We refund the payment in these cases:
- You were charged twice for the same period, or charged by mistake.
- You were charged after you cancelled, because of an error on our side or the payment provider’s side.
- A technical fault on our side stopped you from using Premium for more than 7 days in a row, and we could not fix it within a reasonable time.
We decide each request fairly and tell you the outcome by email.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email info@justquant.com within 30 days of the charge if you were charged twice, by mistake or after you cancelled, or within 7 days after a technical fault ends. Write from the email address of your JustQuant account and include the payment or subscription ID from your payment receipt, the date and the amount. If we approve it, the money goes back to the original payment method through the payment provider: the card, bank account, UPI app or payment account you paid with. How long it takes depends on that provider and your bank; it usually reaches you within 5 to 10 working days after approval. We cannot refund to a different account or method.
6. If a payment fails
If a renewal payment fails (for example, the card has expired or lacks funds), the payment provider may retry it for a short time. If it ultimately fails, the payment provider cancels or suspends the subscription, and Premium access stops at the end of the period that was already paid for. You can subscribe again at any time.
7. Prices, taxes and currency
Prices are shown in Indian rupees (INR) for visitors in India and in US dollars (USD) for visitors elsewhere. We choose the currency from your location, worked out from your IP address. The price and currency shown at checkout are what you pay each period until you cancel. The USD plans are Quarterly and Annual. Prices are shown with any taxes included or added as shown at checkout.
We do not charge a fee for cancelling or for a refund. Refunds are made in the currency that was charged. If your own bank or payment provider converts currency or charges fees, those are outside our control, and we cannot refund them.
8. Questions
If something is wrong with a charge, write to info@justquant.com or use our contact page. Please read our Privacy Policy to see how we handle the information you send us.
Complaints about a charge or a refund go to our Grievance Officer, Sujith, Founder, at info@justquant.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
