Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information JustQuant collects, why, who we share it with and what choices you have. By using the website or creating an account you accept this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

JustQuant® (www.justquant.com) is run by Sankhyantra Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd, No.38/1, 1st Floor, Ranga Rao Road, Shankarapuram, Basavanagudi, Bangalore, Karnataka, India – 560004. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company. You can reach us at info@justquant.com or through our contact page.

2. What this policy covers

It covers the JustQuant website (the blog, the Math Tricks pages and tools) and JustQuant Learn, our practice and learning area (topics, lessons, practice questions, mock tests, the Daily Workout and Premium subscriptions). The Math Tricks Workout Android app has its own privacy policy at www.justquant.com/mtw-privacy-policy/; this policy does not replace it.

3. Information we collect

When you create an account

  • Your name and email address, and a password. We never see or store your password itself, only a one-way scrambled version (a hash).
  • A username that the system generates for you, so that your email address is not used as a public name.
  • When you register, we email you a six-digit code to prove the address is yours. We keep only a scrambled version of that code, and it expires after a short time.

When you learn and practise

  • Which lessons you open and complete, the answers you give in practice questions and mock tests, your scores and timings, your Daily Workout history and your notebook entries. We store these against your account so you can continue where you left off and see your progress.

When you subscribe to Premium

  • The plan you chose, its status and dates (start, renewal, cancellation, end of access), the payment gateway used, the country we treated you as being in for pricing, and the reference numbers the payment gateway gives us for your subscription and payments.
  • We do not receive or store your card number, UPI ID, bank details or the login of your payment account. You enter those on the payment page of the external payment gateway, which handles them under its own privacy policy. We never see or keep them.

Automatically, when you visit

  • Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of the request. Our web host and our security tools record this in server logs.
  • We use your IP address to limit repeated sign-in, sign-up and password-reset attempts, to detect abuse, and to work out which country you are in so that we can show you the right price (see section 6, “IPinfo”).
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 7.

When you contact us or comment

  • Emails you send us, with your address and what you write.
  • If you comment on a blog post: the name, email address and website you enter, the comment itself and your IP address.

4. How we use your information

  • To create and run your account, sign you in and keep it secure.
  • To provide the learning content, save your progress and show it back to you.
  • To take payment for Premium, manage renewals and cancellations, and send you receipts and service emails (verification codes, password resets, cancellation confirmations).
  • To show the price in the right currency for your country.
  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To keep the service safe: preventing abuse, fraud and unauthorised access.
  • To understand how the site is used and to improve it (aggregated analytics).
  • To show advertising on blog posts, which helps keep the free content free.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.

5. On what basis we use it

We use your information because you have given us your consent (for example when you create an account or accept cookies), because we need it to provide the service you asked for, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the service. We aim to follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as it applies to us.

6. Who we share it with

Our advertising partners

Our advertising partners include:

  • Google (AdSense)
  • Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms, Inc.)

Each of these partners has its own privacy policy, which explains how it uses the information it collects: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy. They and other third-party vendors use cookies, JavaScript or similar technology in the ads and pages they serve, and they receive your IP address automatically when an ad is shown, so that they can show ads (including ads based on your earlier visits to this website or other websites), measure them and prevent fraud. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. We have no access to, or control over, the cookies these advertisers set, and we do not give them your name or email address.

  • Server and security logs: for the period our web host keeps them, usually a few months.
  • Comments stay on the post until you ask us to remove them.

10. Security

Passwords are stored only as hashes, pages are served over HTTPS, sign-in and password-reset attempts are rate-limited, and only the administrators of the site can see the subscriber list. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Age

JustQuant accounts are for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, use JustQuant only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts this policy for you. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without that consent. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us information without your consent, write to info@justquant.com and we will delete it.

12. Your rights

You may ask us to: show you the personal information we hold about you; correct it; delete it; or stop using it for a purpose you agreed to earlier. You may withdraw your consent at any time (that does not affect what was done before). Under Indian law you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland have further rights under local law, including to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive a copy in a portable format and to complain to their data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email info@justquant.com from the address registered on your account, and say what you want. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We reply within 30 days. At present, account deletion and data copies are handled by us by email, not by a button on the site.

13. Where information is processed

Our web host stores the site on servers that may be in India or in other countries. Google, the payment gateways, IPinfo and other providers listed in section 6 may process information in other countries, including outside India.
